About
What is your legacy? Growing up, when we would hear about those who passed on, the conversations would go into great depth regarding how they played an intricate part in their community, the value they added, or how they were missed. Beyond death, we frequently think about or ask ourselves what our legacy will be. What will we leave behind to those we love and our communities? In a world where we are taught to survive, it is time for our community to redefine what legacy means to our identities.
Mission
Communities are no stranger to gaps in land, resources, and entrepreneurship. Instead of trying to fill the gaps or fix every issue, Redefining the Gap is choosing to reevaluate how we view the world around us in three ways:
- Identifying and acknowledging the issues at their core without emotional responses and castigation.
- Bridging the gap between community issues, finding commonalities in shared outcomes.
- Facilitating an environment that encourages our community to redefine the solutions by changing the way we view our current circumstances.
